Why can’t I find a job that makes me happy?
You don’t know what you want
In order to find a job that makes you happy, you need to be 100% sure about what you want in life, and most people aren’t. They may think they want something but deep down don’t and are now lying to themselves and are only following the crowd.
In order to get to know what you want in a job, you need to get to know yourself first. So have some life experiences and pay attention to them. Don’t be one of these people that travels all over the world, meets lots of people, and still comes back the same asshole that they left as.
You’re too shallow
Shallowness will stop you from doing things that you enjoy and make you do things for status and money. Money and status are great, I’d be lying if I said otherwise, but they’re not as good as having a job that you actually like.
You have to swallow your pride and say, “I am willing to leave my lucrative or my high-status job and go do what I’m truly passionate about — streaming on Twitch to 13-year-olds”.
Yeah, you may have to move back into your mum’s basement, yeah you may ruin your life for a bit, but in the end (when you’re 35) you’ll succeed.
