Why female stalking isn’t seen as a problem

In my life I have been stalked by a few women, I also know others who’ve been stalked by women but they’re usually women themselves. I’m not here to say female staling is as bad as men’s or that it’s even a major problem in society, but it’s out there more than we think.

If you speak about female stalking no one will care, and that’s because it’s not seen as a problem. Male stalking is a travesty yet female stalking is “girls just being girls”.

Female stalking most likely isn’t going to be dangerous to you physically, but it can be very dangerous to you in other ways.

It's digital

A lot of the stalking comes online through social media profiles and group chats, it’s the modern way to creep. Online stalking isn’t really taken seriously even though it has ruined people’s lives. I wonder how many lives have to be ruined before people think online stalking is a problem.

People are even open about stalking online and joke about it. Women gather in groups to talk about people they’re stalking online, at least men feel enough shame to do it in private. Male friends aren’t going to accept you stalking people.

There are websites for men and women dedicated to stalking people, and popular social media platforms are used.
