Why Gloucester is one of the worst cities in England

I planned this post for a letter date but I feel like now is a good time to write this. In a previous post about me starting a new career at 28, I mentioned that I currently worked in Gloucester. Naturally, I spoke about how bad it is because it unarguably is.

I was surprised and shocked that people in the comments actually defended it. I could be wrong, but I doubt that any of them have spent a considerable amount of time in Gloucester. If they have, I want some of what they’re smoking because Gloucester is one of the worst cities in England.

Whilst I’m not having a go at these people I am sick of people defending shitholes. Most of the time the people defending them have had the luxury of not having to spend much or any time there. Until you’ve experienced the misery day in and day out, don’t say anything.

It has no redeemable features

There is nothing to do in Gloucester if you like to enjoy life in any shape or form. The best feature of Gloucester is the train station as it can take you to superior places, like Hell for example.

The cathedral is nice if you’re in the 1% of people that likes cathedrals. Once you’ve done that you can walk past the sad drunks in town and then become one with a drink at one of their many Wetherspoons…
