Why has Medium become a fake woke hellscape?

When I first joined Medium it was mostly work-related articles and some general life stuff. All of that still exists, but there has been a massive increase in fake wokeness.

I’m not anti-woke, but I’m not woke either. I don’t think that many people on this website are as woke as they say they are. A lot of this stuff has an agenda behind it.

It’s all I see in my suggestions

No matter what I read or who I follow all I see are woke articles in my feed. I don’t read or even click on them anymore and they still appear.

One thing I’ve noticed about the fake woke movement is that companies shove wokey shit down your throat and tell you that everyone is into it.

When you speak to people most have had enough and do their best to avoid it.

The dodging of responsibility

A lot of woke articles I see are a dodging of responsibility. It’s something that a lot of fake woke people do. They don’t want to admit they were in the wrong to the point they’ve wound up becoming an activist.

I see so many articles where one party is always evil and this one person has never made a mistake in their life. There are a lot of gaslighting ones too, they’re actually quite funny.
