Why I don’t like helping people with their relationships

I’m not scared of much, but something I am scared of is people asking for advice on their relationships. Leave me alone, I know you’re coming to me in good faith, but that’s not the move.

I don’t want to be part of your mess but I am flattered that you’d ask me. Honestly, it’s not because I’d give bad advice, but most relationship advice is bad advice if you know what I mean.

If you want good advice then go to someone who loves you. That person isn’t me I can tell you that.

I don’t know any of you like that

Sometimes I get asked for advice and I don’t know either person that well. I get expressing yourself to people, and sometimes people you don’t know are better to speak to as they’re neutral and aren’t invested emotionally. But you can’t ask them for full-on advice.

I could be anyone. I could be the worst dude ever and try to destroy your relationship on purpose. Weird to tell me all your personal business as well, I might be a guy with a blog online with over 1k followers. I could write about it and use your real names just for clicks.
