Why is it so hard for me to pick a career?
Picking a career is so simple for some people. They can pick something when they’re young and follow through with it all the way through their life. I don’t know how people can be that sure of themselves and not be deterred by life experiences.
Maybe these people lack the life experiences that can open their eyes, or maybe they’ve thought one way for so long that they can’t change. I do think being extremely successful in a career takes someone who’s tunnel-visioned and incapable of seeing the bigger picture.
Questioning things
When you’re a person who questions things in life you naturally get the answers, and when it comes to your career the answers tend to be ones that you don’t like.
You realise quickly why certain people are the way they are in certain jobs, and why others have such a negative attitude towards trying hard and developing a career when they could do so very easily.
You see how hard life is behind the scenes and ultimately it’s not worth it unless you’re shallow or stupid and don’t have any other options.
Learning from experiences
When you make a mistake you do your best to learn from that experience so it doesn’t happen again. So that means that when you have a miserable…
