Why London is the most uninspiring inspiring place I’ve ever been

I don’t love London but I don’t hate it either. I’ve always felt like I should love London because most people I speak to seem to. Because of the size and the amount of things going on in London, I’ve always felt like I was missing something. But after visiting London again, I can now confidently say it’s mid, for me personally.

I’ve been to London for various reasons like to watch sports, do tourist stuff, go on job interviews, and more recently, take in the city, and you know what — I don’t find it impressive at all. I’ve been to several different parts of it as well and it doesn’t get me excited, many parts of it actually make me feel depressed.

When I speak to Londoners, they don’t make the best arguments for the city, and a lot of the time they say things that make them sound like they’ve never been anywhere outside of London in their lives. It’s like they think London is more unique than it actually is because they have no understanding of the rest of the country.

Some guy with a moustache and mullet: “I like this city it’s like mini London”.

No, this is just what a standard British city is like, ffs you’re from here.

Of course, it’s different when you live there, but I never would unless someone paid me a lot or if a girlfriend dragged me there.

Don’t get me wrong, definitely do visit if you’ve never been, you might love it as many people do. This is not a hate post…
