Why Working In An Office Is Depressing
Many people find working in an office depressing, but why is that? You’re sat in a room looking at a computer all day, that does sound a little sad. But when people do the exact same thing from home, they tend to enjoy it more.
Your location massively affects how happy you are in general, not just when it comes to working. Working in an office makes you face lots of things you don’t like and there’s not much you can do about it.
You have to spend a lot of your day holding back your feelings, which can only go on for so long before you explode, or quit your job and become an influencer.
You Can’t Be Yourself
It’s hard to be yourself in an office as you’re surrounded by a hoard of people that expect you to act in a certain way. Even if your behaviour doesn’t get you in trouble, acting in a way that your colleagues find strange could affect your position at the company.
If you want to be a manager, and you’re seen being too casual, your boss might not think you have what it takes to be a manager. How many times has your boss ended a conversation because it was causing too much of a ruckus? You were having fun and laughing, and your boss found that immature so he put a stop to it and your happiness at the company.
