You can’t lie to God

You can lie to humans but you can’t lie to God. This is what I think many religious people forget when they’re on some bullshit. They think that getting away with pulling the rug over Tim’s eyes is going unnoticed by God.

I don’t believe in God, but for the sake of this conversation let’s say he objectively is real, and you can pick whatever God or Gods you believe in. They all have their own target audience and marketing strategies.

So now we know God is real as is the afterlife, people's behaviour would probably change quite significantly. Not only the people who previously didn’t believe in God but also the people who already did.

That’s because a lot of religious people are full of it. They use religion as a way to manipulate people or create a certain image of themselves. Now that they can objectively see that God is here their character will truly be tested.

Using religion to look like a saint

Some religious people use religion as a way to look like a morally superior person. They’re overtly religious and shove it in people’s faces all day. But behind that bad act, they’re not good people at all and that’s why they need the cover.

Good people don’t need to constantly remind people they’re good all the time, people know it by looking at their actions…
