You love to see others fail because you live in fear

A mark of a true coward is loving to see others fail. We all love to see other people fail from time to time due to hate or resentment of that specific individual, but I’m talking about the people who like to see everyone fail, no matter who they are.

I’ve had friends who wanted to see me fail and hated to see me improve my life, and yes, they were real friends. They just lived in fear so even someone close to them winning made them bitter.

These are miserable people who want others to feel miserable too, you can’t help or change them, you have to let them be. Hopefully, they’ll figure it out for themselves.

The famine mentality

The famine mentality is basically fear of seeing other people succeed because you think it’s going to take something away from you. You want to keep others down so you can have all of the spoils of success. For whatever reason, you’re afraid if you don’t have everything then you’ll lose.

Many people have this attitude, and an obvious example is when foreigners come over to another country. The people of that country think all the jobs are being taken by them and blame them for their struggles in life.
